Would I benefit from chiropractic, Applied Kinesiology and nutritional counseling if I already feel healthy?

Surprisingly, feeling healthy is actually a poor indicator of overall health. Health is not simply an apparent lack of symptoms. There is a continuum between illness and optimal health. Consider a "health ladder" where 0 is death, 100 is optimal, and 50 is feeling ill or having symptoms that might prompt one to finally go to a health care provider. Then "healthy" can be defined as anywhere between 65-100. Many people are between 70 and 85 with an apparent lack of symptoms. They are not necessarily sick, but they are not experiencing optimal health either, and are at greater risk for developing health problems in the future.

In addition, people often overlook common symptoms when I ask them about their health (such as light-headedness upon standing, craving sweets, bruising easily, darkness under the eyes, that they get sick three or more times a year, dry skin, bad breath, headaches, allergies, high or low blood pressure, sex drive issues, nail problems, bloating, gas, bowel disorders, PMS, leg twitching at night, etc.). Even if they considered some of the above symptoms, they might either regard them as them "normal at their age," or outside the bounds of chiropractic and nutrition - they think they're strictly medical or psychological. Quite the opposite, in fact!
