What causes a subluxation?
Subluxations are caused by the body's inability to adapt to certain stresses, whether physical, biochemical, or emotional. A fall, injury, sudden jar, or trauma can displace a vertebra. Other causes include improper sleeping conditions or habits, poor posture, occupational hazards, incorrect lifting practices, obesity, lack of rest and exercise, and stress.
